Events @ Early Bird

Early Bird Farm is available for cycling and running events, endurance training camps, team workouts, brand activations, community gatherings, and farm-to-table breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Located on Boulder County’s popular dirt roads — but only a quarter mile from paved roads — the farm provides a unique setting for athletes and outdoor communities. With plenty of parking space, secure gear storage, easy access to routes used by cyclists, runners, and endurance athletes throughout the area, the farm is ideal for medium to large groups. Since its inception, performance brands and endurance communities including Patagonia, La Sportiva, ASICS, Fleet Feet, Petunia Mafia, and Revolution Running have all hosted events, training sessions or filmed on location at the farm.

Petunia Mafia

Early Bird Eats is such a gem in North Boulder County. Whether you’re out cycling, running, or taking the backroads for a scenic drive, this farm stand is the perfect stop and reprieve along the way. The offerings are incredibly thoughtful for active folks too, from sports nutrition and refreshing beverages to the sweet and savory snacks athletes actually crave mid-ride or post-workout.

Our cycling group, Petunia Mafia, recently hosted a special ride day there, and they went above and beyond, serving coffee and bites before the ride, then ice cream, cold drinks, and snacks afterward for dozens of riders. It made for such a fun and memorable experience.

And of course, the cute cows and farm critters are the cherry on top! -Teresa

A place to film

Early Bird Farm has been the location for television commercials, print media campaigns, and corporate productions for several of my clients. From a production standpoint, the farm offers a wide variety of visual settings and the infrastructure needed to support medium to large productions, including space for an admin office, craft services, a video village, and ample parking.

"Barn Burner" Event

Early Bird Farm was an awesome setting for our creative meetup. Guests gathered both inside and outside the barn, enjoying the views and even visiting the cows before we moved upstairs for presentations. The rustic design and atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening of creative sharing and connection. The Wi-Fi, bathrooms, and easy access to water made hosting simple and comfortable, and everything ran incredibly smoothly. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable place to host an event. -Chad (Event Host)

Farm To Crag

Climbers connecting to the land through food is Farm To Crag's priority—Early Bird Farm is an incredible educational playground for that! The beauty of the land is a natural host and helps to facilitate deep problem-solving and building mutual respect between the outdoor community and farmers. Farm-to-table food reminds us that food is medicine and fuel for our big adventures. At Early Bird Farm, we get to experience the hard work that goes into vegetable growing, dairy cow stewardship, land restoration, and pollinator habitat management. We also get to experience the joy of harvesting, celebrating, and community connection. The Early Bird Farm family are such generous and gracious hosts, we are grateful to have values-aligned partners. Let’s forge a new food future together by inspiring curiosity in non-farming eaters, empowering our local farmers, and weaving together the rich intersections of our wild crags and regenerative farmlands. A different path is possible!
